In the study, subjects trained once per day for three days. The last two days they training twice per day. These were low intensity, very high upsessions,. A bunch of sets taken to failure a. This may have been the study that you talked about where someone had rabdo  if memory serves. So anyway, i think it's possibly a thing. There's not much, there's not much research on it, so i i kind of revert to my original stands of i don't think it is really all that relevant or useful in real world.
