The previous elite were de legitimized, and we got the right wing populists in power. And if you're going to look at ouno health policy, india had much more disastrous lock downs than we did. So i'm not sure that a scenario where you de legitimatize the non right wing ruling elites and just replace them with right win populists is onet a good thing. I suspect onet it's a bad thing.
