KLM City Hopper, 433. This was a very popular route between Amsterdam and Cardiff. The plane had flown 6,558 hours at the time of the action. At 1 p.m. universal time, there was an active trough positioned over the southern part of the North Sea. After takeoff, when they were passing through 1,950 feet, the flight was cleared to climb to 9,000 feet. So that's like weather.
