If you don't speak the native tongue, it's not something you should do. The only thing i think you should learn in a verbal way are phrases like, i'm sorry. You need to learn that in but i know a lot of guide books and people will tell you to learn phrases. So these are my tips for earning a good meal at a restaurant where you're not familiar. Do your research. Not every restaurant or eater you are going to go to is going to be something that you have planned. Just take some notes.
