Cutting out refined sugar may be the single easiest thing a person can do to dramatically improve their health. In obese children that were put on a diet with no added sugar for just ten days it was shown to decrease fasting blood glucose by five points, reduce inson levels by a third and also improve collestral and blood pressure. Other fitness measures besides that of legs, such as force, expiratory volume or grip strength were not associated with brain aging when leg power was excluded.
