I Don't Have an Ego, They Have an Emo, Right?

We like to think we're the perfect person for them. But it's a guy I knew back in England, he said in his 30s to his mum, he kept cycling through relationships. His mum looked at him and she said, I hate to break it to you, but you're not perfect. And neither are they. That's a really humbling moment where you realize, like, my partner probably had a couple of things they've wanted that they didn't get in me. If you don't feel able to be patient while someone grows, that relationship won't last.
