The Importance of Having a Framework for Training

A lot of young coaches think a spikes in load is only going up. That actually the inverse as well as spike in load can be a drop in training intensity, or a shying away from load altogether. It's important to make sure you have got these plans and you've mapped it out. We know people pull up differently from games. But if you don't have a framework that you can edit, then you're just flying by the seat of your pants and you'll miss things. The first half of the season, I've found three really good opportunities where we're going to just really push these guys or girls on the field or in the gym. They haven't had those weeks
