The Benefits of a Low Carbohydrate Diet

There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. The body can make it extremely efficiently through a process of gluconeogenesis which we learned about earlier. You do not need to consume any carbohydrates for the rest of your life you would live a long and productive life if you chose to do that. That doesn't mean that everybody all the time has to be on a ketogenic diet they have to keep their carbohydrates extremely extremely low.
