Building Aerobic Conditioning
There's a way to get so the whole point of base training is to build aerobic fitness. Anything below threshold, in theory and in practice, scientific practice, builds aerobic conditioning. And it actually does a better job of building aerobic conditioning as the intensity increases. You should be able to do this for sustained periods of time.
