The Benefits of a Nordic Hamstring Curl

Each of your hamstrings are loaded with about 2000 pounds of force when you're knee is straight. Some people do it with one leg at a time, so we're talking 4,500 pounds. If the hamstring doesn't hold, boom, there go your tendons with your knee trying to go the other direction. The Nordic version, you can stop short of full extension if you want. And if you're not strong enough to go all the way to the bottom, then you stop soon enough.
