I'm not someone who lives on ultra process food, which is packed with salt. So yes, they should be reducing it. But just by increasing our plants or swapping chemically your salt for potassium, you can get a much bigger salt reduction. I think most cardiologists have a job getting anyone to adhere to a low salt diet because it's essential for humans. It's the one thing humans want. And we should probably test individuals before consigning millions of people to a lifetime of misery. Which is pretty unsustainable anyway.
