Am I the Dumb Jock or the Smart Guy?
As a child, i saw myself as the athletic one. That seemed to be the thing that i excelled at the most when i was young. And for me to have an identity, i'm not going to try to be the smart one, right? This kind of way to brain works if we want a kind of a nitch out for ourselves. So that's the identity that i lived into. Now, the problem with that is that i also had aspirations about being a something other than an athlete. and so all of a sudden the dumb jock story was at odds with, i might want to go to medical school,. which means it is at odds with the smart guy story
