Do You Value Supervision?
Runistat norlinski conducted a long, long study looking at therpis professional development. When they ask therapists, do you value supervision? I think it's number two on the list of three or four things that they say are absolutely essential for professional development. But we ist allrany data. The study that i'm referring to looked at both student trainees and staff that were already licensed. Still very little evidence that the supervisor affects client outcomes.
