How to Feel Anxiety

The sensation that these emotions create in our bodies is actually very subtle. It's not a big deal. They're subtle little shifts. What makes them feel intense and intolerable is me adding layers and layers of negative emotion, like resistance and anger and shame and blame and anxiety about my anxiety. But the emotions themselves, when you strip all that other away, are not that big of a deal. And they're just kind of annoying. That's what we're going to do today. I want you to ask yourself these questions when you're feeling anxiety: Is it moving? Does it move within me? And if so, does it move fast or does it move slow? Do it fall slowly
