What Mattered Most Was Perception of Safety

At the peak of the last oil boom, I worked for an onshore driller and they had everything they needed. The only thing they didn't have is a technical role. And so actually getting more drillers was the unlock to higher revenue more. In that market where the employee is the prized possession, you are selling the employee what they want matters.
