The Principle of Variable Practice in Resistance Training

I think people get maybe a little too sometimes caught up in the principle of specificity argument. There's another principle of motor learning called the principle of varied practice, which is reasonably well established. If you do variations on a similar skill and you practice them through what's called contextual interference, you can actually enhance the retention of that motor skill. So now I'm actually focusing on this new new skill.
