A lot of people experience tremendous benefits from going on a paleo or a keto or even a carnivore diet and not just speak to the blood results. The standard American diet is so toxic and full of chemicals and full of refined carbohydrates and high in sugar and tetra, fat and the like that while a keto paleo or carnivore diet may not be great for longevity, it is still probably an improvement because many of those diets are based in whole foods. That's my guess for why people see like they lose weight when they start eating a bunch of red meat doesn't cognitively make sense but when you compare that's like eating a big mac fries and a Coke like it
