How to Reduce Slack and Email Use

Almost every company i talk to does not have a written standard of communication, or communication guide lines. Because there's no written standard, what happens then is employees are forced to guess how and when and how much to communicate. And so by establishing written standards of communication that are endorsed by the management it dramatically changes how every single person is able to do their job. It also cuts down on slack and email use that's really unnecessary.
