The Importance of Cold Reads in Acting

Games are the only thing I can think of where your cold reads are what's used in the final product. Why do you think that is? There's not as much of like a historical workflow to follow for this and that like writing is only reasonably and not an afterthought. So at this point, it's all pretty instinctive. And from the hip, sometimes very, very rarely do I get a script in advance so that there are a couple of developers that do that - which is always helpful.
