The Science of Adolescence and the Need for Sleep
As we enter adolescence or puberty, there will be less of that very deep sleep. And one may wonder, how is this reflected in changes within the brain? We know that er, during adolescence puberty, there are quite impressive chang s in the number of synapses, or the connections between the neurons in the brain. These reductions are occurring primarily during that particular period in development. But it's also often hypothesise that it has a lot to do with changes in those sacadian rhythms. One good way to delay your clock, or slow down your clock, is by being exposed to light in the evening.
