Start by reading super forecasting, which is the book that phil tetlock and dat gardner wrote based on the good judgment project. Instead of thinking about being a forecaster, think about o ho can extract insight into that as a modeller. And i think a lot of the lessons are applicable without making too much of a jump. But you have to read it in a minds hed of like, how can i translate this? It needs to be translated, but it's usually endurable to translate it.
