The Effects of Cardiovascular Health on Dementia
The age specific incidence is decreasing and this seems to be associated with improvements in things like blood pressure treatment. There's so much overlap that it's difficult to separate them out, but it definitely seems like improving cardiovascular health, which has been a big focus of the medical health care systems in the last five decades or so, seems to be translating to some decreased risk of dementia. But obviously not enough or as much as we would want it to.
