The Importance of Being Enlightened
Being a nun had a lot of very negative associations, but I saw it as devoting my whole life to going deeper. The other ongoing experience that I have is a feeling of- I never know how to express this - that things are neutral in a way. That allows you to hear both sides, actually. It makes it painfully- You can't not hear both sides.
