There are 12 different s to your breath that you can learn control. Most people ae a bit confused, so they'll say, oh, take a few deep breaths. Deep breathing is not going to actually change that you know your biology much. What we think is critical is take a few rhythmic breaths. So learn to breathe rhythmically and evenly.
