In this episode, Caleb and guest, Steve Wellum (PhD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), discuss the theological system known as progressive covenantalism and how it helps us understand and apply the storyline of Scripture to our lives. Wellum is Professor of Christian Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous essays, articles, and books. Most notably he is the co-author with Peter Gentry of Kingdom through Covenant, God the Son Incarnate: The Doctrine of the Person of Christ, and is currently working on a two-volume systematic theology, the first of which will be available for purchase in February of 2024.
