The Importance of More Time in Small Group Discussions
I'm always trying to negotiate for every little even an extra 30 minutes can make an impact or you just have to kind of negotiate with what's realistic. I think this is something that I also underestimated as a facilitator because we don't feel where they're going in the breakouts, small group conversations and there are things you cannot discuss in 10 minutes. We're just getting their waiting especially if it's virtual and we can’t walk around and kind of peek in and listen It feels like a long time but when you're in those rooms they come back and they go oh we needed more time that was too short.
