i would show everyone a movie of, like, hay, this point in your life. Here's all the areas where jim got lucky and morgan got lucky. And then they would stop idolizing people for just some level of success. I think if you are working hard to become luckier, then that's actually a skill. i've been on both sides of that: taking advantage or not taking advantage. The exercise that works really well there is roll's val of ignorance.
