Act is amazing because it cuts through that kind of self-criticism. Instead of trying to control in our experiences, we actually need to lean into that a little and accept that we will feel uncomfortable. My argument is that I've never met a perfectionist who in the end has ever really changed their thinking. And always honestly, if we just cut to the chase, it's like connections with other humans.
