I'm a huge fan of red meat. I hate it all the time. But nonetheless, most people in this country have access to whether they live in food deserts or not and that's no small feat. Red meat is basically it's a nutrient dense whole food multivitamin. It's been shown to actually have positive health outcomes. You can be mostly ultra-processed American diet, but you can do right by getting protein from variety sources.
