Designers look for the common themes or trends that are popping up within their industry among some of those competitors. Are they all using a similar color palette? Do they use similar fonts and illustration styles? We tried to break away from those trends on purpose, but still in a way that aligned with the personality that the founder wanted to have for the brand.
