The Effects of Too Much Protein on mTOR

Too much protein is definitely going to be inflammatory because it operates certain pathways such as mTOR and iJF1 which are these anabolic switches that promote cell growth and proliferation. With fasting you can't really overstimulate mTOR because you're eating at a like smaller frequency so if you are eating only two times or once a day then the amount of mTOR stimulation is still there. The body puts a limiting factor on itself by not being able to handle more than 30 to 40 grams of protein per meal for muscle protein synthesis. That's why body builders and fitness competitors eat very frequently so they want to keep themselves in this animal state of growth  for longer and for more frequently
