All carbohydrates are broken down into sugar in our body. Refined sugar is highly processed and all the nutrients are then zapped from it, which if you've ever had like molasses, friends is the excess sugar from the refined sugar. Any natural food that has sugar in it is going to be beneficial with vitamins and minerals for your body. Natural is so much better. Whole foods are going to be so much better than highly processed foods.
