i was looking at the definition of vision, an idea that a person feels passionate about and sometimes makes great sacrifices to pursue. A vision is more dangerous because it's a shared hallucination. And so i think part of the change yoe were talking about earlier is really putting a little less emphasis on some kind of vague idea of the future. Every time you put your faith in a leader that offers you the empty calary of a vision of grandiosity, without ino wel have all the benefit and no pain, you are helping sustain the kind of system that we critique....
