I think it's a distraction for when you're considered concerned about existential risk because just yeah it's not so so good proxy. You might be super good at doing research and this causing transphylae AI but being unable to uh be to take out the world just because you're not general enough. I think there is some evidence that you can be in models that are fairly good locally and that can have like a significant impact but not being general. And on the other handlike you might have very general models thatYeah just are biore seeking etc but are not good enough yet to do some Einstein level research so you're mostly automated by AI.
