The ability to not move and then transfer force to the limbs makes a lot of sense. It's how the strongest men and women in the world train. Sprinters have a lot of lordosis. You cannot sprint with a flat back. The best sprinters in the world have more lordosis. If I didn't have thoracic extension mobility, my power production would be here and I couldn't reach right for the target.
