Peter Drucker is a great mentor to have. Marvin Bauer, who's the founder of, one of the founders at McKinsey and a senior partner at the Jones Day Law Firm,. He had an enormous influence on me and my thinking. And I think it starts out by respecting them. You really empower somebody if you let them know that you respect them. That expresses more respect than almost anything else. It can lift their self-esteem in a way that they may be able to rewrite some of the software.
