How to Introduce Yourself to a Friend
How do you get people excited to introduce you rather than consider that it might damage reputation on both sides? I try and make the introduction as lightweight as possible for the person I'm asking. The second thing is I always give the person an out too. At the end of the day, there's no like, it's hard to barter for favors in the moment. It's rare that I reach out to somebody where I can provide them with immediate value.
