Do You Need Cholesterol?

Over about a circulating level of about six milligrams, the LDL receptor can become saturated. Our physiological maximum for requirements appears to be about 30 milligrams per deciliter. Once the LDL receptor becomes saturated, it basically that capacity to then circulate, that LDL in circulation is diminished.
