Product Marketing - Where Startups Fail
In the case of startups, you need a founder or CEO that either has a product manager or some product management DNA. Product marketing is actually where startups struggle the most because even if the founder has product management experience, very rarely do they have any marketing experience. That's been an area where I really encourage my founders to find great talent early on in the journey. The value proposition is what drives product market fit and efficiency in the go to market process.
