A very, very high fat meal literally fills up your stomach. In contrast, our body can jam down simple carbs a lot faster. fats put the brakes on the process in a far more direct physical way. We can only cram so many fats down the hatch at a time. It is unclear to me, from my own experience that simple cabs tend to satisfy my hunger almost immediately. But you know which carbs? I have read studies where the diets described were like oatmeal and whole wheat bread and other slow digesting carbs. Who eats that any more? This is the era of quick carbs.
