Neurofibromatosis Type 2 - What's the Difference?

The characteristic neurological manifestation of neurofibromatosis type 2 is bilateral acoustic neuromas. The skin findings are more notable in NF1, as with one other distinction I like to make in my head: Those common skin manifestations that we see in NF1 will be less commonly seen in NF2. Another very important condition for neurologists to know is tuberous sclerosis.
