The Importance of Being Present Mindful in Relationships
Elizabeth: We are doing somatic couples therapy because we do want to repattern the way that our trauma responses drive our interaction when we're under stress. She says as someone with a lot of relational trauma in her early development, it's hard for me to go into that space. Elizabeth: I have had to bring my neuro somatic tool so that I can work directly with my nervous system and keep taking little pauses to re-regulate and come back before I get to that place where I have left.
