The Pity of Authored Game Designers
It's so much more fun to design these systemic games that- Because I don't know what's necessarily going to happen all the time. Like you're not actually totally confident about what your game is doing when you let it free. That's one of the most pure pleasures of a designer. Yeah. Well I've basically only worked on games with random apps and general experience generation. But I'm not sure how I'd be able to play a game enough times if it was completely static. It's so miserable. People who make authored like completely scripted sequences. No envy. Just pity for authored game designers. Sorry.
