What's the Relationship Between the Extractor Efficiency and Octanol Water Partition Coefficient?

A lot of terpenes, like monotirpene alcohols, like little wool and gerineol that kind of a lot of the hot flavor chemistry research has shown to be important to beer flavor and aroma. So we did see kind of that the oil after the extraction was enriched in larger and less polar compounds. And as things are getting less polar, they're more likely to be left behind in that material. If you're trying to dry hop with the spent hops, that might cause some issues.
