The Tilted Buddha

A friend of mine and I decided we wanted to buy a statue, a Buddha statue for our DC community. We went hunting around in Provincetown and found a really beautiful androgynous, really lovely looking Buddha statue. But the night that I put it up on the pedestal ... people looked at it and they were all, their heads were all kind of tilted to one side. It turns out the casting had been tilted. And so we had fun with that. We kind of named ourselves the Sangha, the leaning Buddhas,. Just to sense that we could have imperfect castings and still be waking up Buddhas.
