The Importance of Inquiry in Painting
I sometimes struggle to explain to new painters why ones are and one isn't. Is it a cop out if you pre mix colors in advance? I wouldn't say it's sped up the process. It was maybe thinking it would be something that would make the paintings happen a little bit quicker. If I had less color issues to resolve. And because there is something that hangs together a little bit more in the colors That's really important to explore some of these other areas of mark making, working with wet and dry paint together.
