When you are in the present moment, it is, despite of what is happening, you are so entrapped into right here right now that stress doesn't feel so overwhelming. A big component of people getting stress is also their lack of self care. And then this is why when you have them focus on something and specific, but really kind of see their environment and be present with their environment, then they are able to relieve that stress in a given moment in time.
