The game can function as kind of a training manual for, you know, capitalist systems. And I may be coming to the game as an individual who is otherwise always kind of surrounded by such systems. But we might also imagine that players are very diverse and people might come to such a game with any number of economic values. Some of which make a world like the one revealed in World of Warcraft make sense in terms of the market systems but it may also estrange them from the world.
