Can Any Game Be Thematic?
Raymond: The thi the game is the action you take, not the thing you're looking at. Why are you taking pieces out of a jenga tower? In the context of the story of the game, it was not why? Why are you rolling a dye to resolve anything in a game? It's an abstractionand the abstraction is that as the game gets more tense, so does the act the players are doing. But can't we apply that same question to anything that you're talking about?
