Is 120% of VO2 Max a Common Intensity?

Peter: When we're prescribing intervals using, I guess it would ultimately be like a, I'm asking you now to kind of think about the aerobic system. What are the potential implications there for the coach and athlete? Any thoughts on that? Peter: Based on what we know, 120% of VO2 max is not going to be the same relative intensity for those athletes. The guys that are speed demons, it's going to be a relatively lower intensity.
